Czechia: mobile internet use by gender 2022

In the observed period, the internet via cell phones increased significantly for the two genders in Czechia. In 2012, the number of men accessing the internet via mobile was more than double that of women. However, the difference was around five percent in 2022. Overall, the figures were closing at 80 percent.

CATI and CAPI survey types were used.

Survey for the year 2022 was carried out on 6779 individual persons aged 16+ and 4049 reached households, the data was subsequently converted through post-stratification with respect to the whole population aged 16 or older which amounted to 8,8 million people and 4,5 million households.

The value is the percentage of the total number of Czechs aged 16+ in the given year and of the given gender.
*Only access to the internet via a cellphone is counted.
