In 2022, roughly 50 percent of U.S. consumers between the ages of 18 and 24 said they would purchase festive Halloween products in specialty Halloween stores or costume shops. Many Gen Z shoppers in the United States also planned to make use of online channels, discount stores, and department stores that year.
