Halloween costumes: spending behavior U.S. 2022

In 2022, about 55 percent of consumers in the United States that planned to dress up for Halloween said they intended to spend between 26 and 100 U.S. dollars on their costumes. This included those that said they were planning to buy an entire costume and shoppers that wanted to buy items they needed to make their own. Less than 10 percent of surveyed shoppers planned to spend less than 25 U.S. dollars that year.
