Goodwill is the most popular second-hand apparel online shop in the U.S. The eCommerce marketplace is recognized by 69 percent of internet respondents in the United States. Urban Outfitters, with a brand awareness of 67 percent, comes second in this list, followed by Poshmark and thredUP.

For this study, brand awareness was surveyed employing the concept of aided brand recognition, showing respondents both the brand's logo and the written brand name.
