In 2021, the bed utilization rate in children's hospitals in China dropped to below 80 percent. Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, children's hospitals in China were constantly experiencing high demands, with around 95 percent of beds occupied. These hospitals are mostly located in larger regional centers and can provide specialized care and treatments to children.
