Opinions on banning single-use plastics in Europe 2021, by country
On average, three-quarters of adults in Europe agreed that single-use plastics should be banned as soon as possible. The strongest support was in Italy, where 83 percent of respondents agreed that single-use plastics should be banned as soon as possible. Several of the largest single-use plastic waste generating countries are located in Europe, including the United Kingdom, France, Germany, and Spain.
