European youth illegal music access 2022

The share of young people accessing music from legal sources in the EU is fairly high according to the 2022 Intellectual Property and Youth Scoreboard. 58 percent of respondents stated that they access music from only or mainly legal legal sources, while only 15 percent say they find music though only or mainly illegal sources. While only 21 percent stated that they access music from a mixture of both legal and illegal sources.
