Japan: leading types of goods smartphone gamers spent money on 2022

According to a survey conducted among smartphone gamers in Japan in July 2022, 59 percent of those who spent money on smartphone games within the past month spent money on in-game item billings or gacha mechanics. These were the most common types of goods gamers spent money on, followed by game app purchases.
