In a survey on the usage rate of different shopping platforms in South Korea in 2021, about 20.8 percent of respondents stated that they used social media shopping platforms. This was a 16.7 percent increase compared to the usage rate in 2019. Social media platforms are becoming more popular as shopping channels.
