Planned wind power capacity additions share 2022-2030, by status
As of August 2022, planned wind power capacity additions in the United States added up to roughly 27.7 gigawatts. Nevertheless, facilities accounting for three percent of capacity had been already completed at the time. Around 40 percent of capacity was under construction, while more than half had approvals either pending or not yet initiated.
