During the first year of the coronavirus pandemic, parents in the United States found themselves spending more time with their kids at home. In spring of the first year of the pandemic, 86 percent of surveyed parents stated that they did limit their kids' screen time, compared to about 13 percent who did not. However, one year year into the pandemic, the share of parents who limited their kids' screen time had dropped to 78 percent of those surveyed.
