Share of karaoke goers among high schoolers in Japan 2021, by frequency and gender
According to a survey conducted in December 2021, 21 percent of high school girls and 20 percent of high school boys went at least once per month to karaoke. The largest discrepancy ensued among the non-goers, with 13 percent of girls and 24 percent of boys not frequenting karaoke facilities at all.
