
Main mobile livestream shopping apps in the U.S. 2020-2022, by download share
The live commerce landscape in the United States has dramatically changed over the past few years. While at the beginning of 2020, the shopping channel specializing in televised home products, QVC, accounted for 45 percent of the U.S. livestream shopping app downloads, by 2022, it had shrunk to 10 percent. In contrast, the live shopping app from community marketplace Whatnot went from making up a mere one percent of downloads in this category in 2020 to more than a third (35 percent) two years later.
