In 2022, over one-third of U.S. consumers said they were planning to shop on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. This share was evenly distributed across all generations. In contrast, fewer consumers, at about 22 percent on average, were intending to shop on Sunday during the Thanksgiving weekend.
