As of January 2023, approximately seven in 10 surveyed consumers in Canada felt uncomfortable about the idea of splurging on premium products and taking money out of savings or retirement accounts. Many Canadians were also not too keen on the idea of spending money on non-essential travel and/or vacations at the time of survey.
