In fiscal year 2022, more than 71 billions of cumulative Aadhar authentication transactions took place in India. The cumulative Aadhar authentication transactions in India increased significantly over past few years. Aadhaar authentication is the process wherein Aadhaar or unique identification number is submitted to Unique Identification Authority of India's data repository for verification. This enables residents to verify their identity to service providers.
