According to a recent survey in the Philippines, most respondents preferred over-the-counter (OTC) methods for sending money in 2021. Among several OTC options, the most popular remittance channels for sending money among the adult respondents were pawnshops and money services at 75 percent. This was followed by online banking or mobile apps and agents.
