U.S. consumers noticed price increases in a range of venues in the six months leading up to the fall of 2022. More than 90 percent of respondents perceived price increases in supermarkets, while another 81 percent noticed them in restaurants. In contrast, 32 percent said they noticed price increases in furniture stores.
