Value of industrial robotics sales in China 2017-2022
In 2021, the sales value of industrial robots in China amounted to around 45 billion yuan which was more than 50 percent of total global sales. As part of the country's strategy to modernize the manufacturing sector, companies invest heavily in automation. To gain access to cutting-edge technology, Midea acquired the German robotics company Kuka in 2016.
