Adults who spent money from their savings due to inflation in the U.S. 2022, by age
As of May 2022, most adults in the U.S. have spent at least some of their savings due to inflation. In a recent survey, the majority of respondents who were at least 77 years old did not spend any of their savings because of the rising prices. Meanwhile, the majority of respondents in all other age groups spent at least some of their savings.
