In 2021, the states in Mexico with the highest percentage of women in key positions in Congress were Zacatecas, Coahuila, Oaxaca, Colima and Nayarit with 75 percent each. On the contrast, the states with the lowest share were Sinaloa, Tamaulipas, Morelos and Hidalgo with 12.5 share.
