Apartments and commercial buildings in Long Beach, Sacramento, Los Angeles, and other Californian cities had the highest Energy Star scores as of April 2024. There were also other cities from Californian with high energy efficiency scores, such as San Francisco, whose buildings certified by energy star amounted to roughly 103 million square feet, and they had an average efficiency score of 88 points.
