As of May 2023, the share of European chain accommodation business executives and managers who stated that their average daily rate (ADR) had strongly increased over the last six months was 58 percent. Meanwhile, the share of independent accommodation business executives and managers who said their ADR had strongly increased over that same period was 50 percent.

* 80 respondents were interviewed from each country and region which included Austria, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, the Nordics (Sweden, Denmark, Norway, and Finland), Portugal, Spain, as well as 200 respondents each from the Netherlands and the rest of Europe (Poland, Romania, Belgium, Czechia, Hungary, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Slovakia, Ireland, Croatia).Â
