Most of the buildings pre-certified, certified, and registered by the International WELL Building Institute were in California, New York, and Texas as of April 2024. The total surface area of the buildings in the registry of WELL amounted to over 310 million square feet in California, 281.5 million square feet in New York, and 216 million square feet in Texas. Illinois and Florida also had more than 100 million square feet of buildings certified or registered by the institute.
