Gen Z's feelings towards audio consumption worldwide 2022
According to a study on audio consumption of Gen Z, reffering to the generation born between 1997 and 2012, audio is serving them not only as a form of entertainment but also as a form of self-expression. Among the respondents, 80 percent said that audio allows them to explore different sides of their personalities, while another 76 percent stated that their listening habits tell a story about who they are. Within this generation, the line between creation and consumption of audio entertainment has been blurred, as they use the format as a way to express their individuality.
