Zika virus infections in Paraguay 2015-2022
In 2022, the number of Zika cases in Paraguay amounted to 1,094, up from the 483 infections registered a year earlier. This represents an increase of over 126 percent in the recorded Zika disease cases. That same year, the South American country reported the third highest number of Zika virus infections in Latin America, after Brazil and Guatemala.
