In 2022, approximately 32 percent of responding members of the Generation Z cohort in the United States stated during a survey that climate change had a major impact on their everyday eating and drinking behavior. This was the largest share among all generations. Among the Baby Boomers, the share of participants who stated that climate change had a major impact on their food consumption was approximately 17 percent.
