Gettr: user base growth in selected countries 2022
In 2022, the social media and microblogging platform Gettr reported a 743 percent growth in new users based in the United Kingdom compared to the year before. According to the platform, its user base in Australia increased by 320 percent year-over-year. Additionally, the platform saw a growth of around 266 percent year-over-year in new users based in Brazil. Launched in 2021, Gettr positions itself in the alternative social media online panorama and is often associated with platforms of the alt-tech social media sphere.
