U.S. voters supporting a ban on Chinese-based social media 2022
According to a survey conducted in December 2022 among voters in the United States, over half of the respondents reported they would support a ban or congressional restrictions onto Chinese-based social media platforms. Only 28 percent of respondents reported they would oppose legislative actions against Chinese-based platforms.
