Adults that feel sports betting connects them with sports in Britain 2021, by sport

In Great Britain, sports betting is a popular pastime. A November 2021 survey explored whether this pastime encouraged sports fans to feel more engaged with the sports they liked. When looking at the results, horse racing fans were the most likely to feel more engaged with the sport through participating in sports betting, with 42 percent saying so. In comparison, only 12 percent of gymnastics fans stated that they felt more engaged with the sport when betting on it.
