In February 2024, package holidays reported the sharpest inflation rate among the selected travel and tourism services in the European Union, with the harmonized index of consumer prices (HICP) rising by 8.3 percent over the previous year. Meanwhile, accommodation services in the EU also recorded a high inflation rate in February 2024, with the HICP increasing by 5.5 percent compared to February 2023.
