EU-27: inflation rate of tourism services 2023

In April 2023, air passenger transport services reported the sharpest inflation rate among the selected travel and tourism services in the European Union, with the harmonized index of consumer prices (HICP) rising by 22.8 percent over the previous year. Meanwhile, hotels, motels, inns, and similar accommodation services in the EU also recorded a high inflation rate in April 2023, with the HICP increasing by 13.2 percent compared to April 2022.
