Most bought ethical consumption-related products and service segments 2023
The majority of consumers in Japan had purchased products and services that were tied to ethical consumption, as revealed in a survey conducted in October 2023. Recycled goods were the most common categories, with more than 34 percent of respondents stating that they had bought paper products, daily necessities, and stationeries made from recycled materials.
