Change in five-year spending on major public infrastructure Australia 2022
In 2022, the only category of the major public infrastructure sector that witnessed a growth in spending from 2021 was the buildings category, with a change in five-year spending of around 27 billion Australian dollars. In comparison, both the transport and utilities infrastructure categories witnessed a decrease in expenditure of six billion respectively from 2021 figures.
