Internet purchases by individuals in Romania 2010-2023
In 2023, nearly 32 percent of the population in Romania purchased something on the internet. In contrast, the figure for 2010 was just around two percent. The most significant increase was between 2019 and 2020. In addition, in any other year, more people ordered something on the internet than in 2023.
