Annual change in e-commerce demand in Slovakia 2022, by category
In 2022, the e-commerce demand decreased for most categories of goods in Slovakia compared to the previous year. The only positive change was the slight increase in car and motorcycle goods and cosmetics and health products. The sales of food and drinks remained the same. However, other categories experienced a drop, the most significant being the decline in demand for sexual and erotic products by 41 percent.
