Refugees returned to the home countries worldwide 2022, by country of return
The highest number of refugees who returned to their home country as of mid-2022 was returned to South Sudan, reaching nearly 87,000 returnees. Syrians followed with 22,500 returnees, with Ivorians in third. In total, more than 160,000 refugees had returned to their home countries as of mid-2022.
