People who would use mental health services in Chile 2020, by category & gender
According to a survey carried out in Chile in May 2020, private consultations stood as the mental health care service that adults would use the most in case of need in the South American country, as indicated by around 47.1 percent of men and 42.3 percent of women interviewed. Informal consultations with a mental health professional ranked second, as this mental health service category would be used by over one-quarter of the respondents of both genders.
