Canadian women are more likely than their male counterparts to try to eat healthily. During multiple surveys in 2022, 61 percent of female respondents stated they attempt to eat healthily. In comparison, 55 percent of male respondents claimed the same. Women are also more likely to avoid artificial flavors and to try to eat less meat.
