The mutual foreign direct investment (FDI) stock of the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) reached 44.6 billion U.S. dollars as of mid-2022, having slightly increased from the end of 2021. Over the time period under consideration, the largest mutual FDI stock in the region was recorded at nearly 55 billion U.S. dollars in 2012.
