Mutual FDI stock between the CIS and selected countries 2022
China's foreign direct investment (FDI) stock in the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) reached 67.5 billion U.S. dollars as of mid-2022. To compare, Iran's FDI in the region was below wo billion U.S. dollars. The FDI stock of the CIS countries in the Arab States, including Algeria, Egypt, Iraq, Libya, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) was measured at 3.5 billion U.S. dollars.
