In 2021, the testing rate for syphilis stood at 51 per 1,000 people in France. From a regional perspective, the overseas region of Guyana had the highest screening rate, with 132.9 people tested per 1,000 population. On the other hand, Mayotte, also a French overseas territory, had that year the lowest syphilis testing rate.
