Consumers purchasing online food delivery in the Netherlands 2020-2022

In 2022, around 48 percent of consumers purchased deliveries online from restaurants, fast-food chains, and caterers in the Netherlands. There was a slight decrease in the share of shoppers compared to 2021, when roughly 53 percent of people purchased food via the web. As the pandemic restrictions had been lifted, people began dining out again, explaining the drop in shoppers.
