Reasons for purchasing on social media in India 2023
In a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in February 2023, majority of respondents 54 percent in India chose to shop on social media as it was convenient. Whereas, about 38 percent of respondents preferred to purchasing on social media as it was being promoted by a influencer they follow.
