Reasons for feeling frustrated when planning trips worldwide 2023, by tourist type
According to a study published in March 2023, only 11 percent of leisure travelers and 16 percent of business tourists surveyed worldwide did not experience frustration when planning a trip online. By contrast, 43 percent of business travelers felt frustrated that the search function of travel websites was limited to the budget or the date. While 37 percent of business travelers reported the issue of a search function limited to location, only 23 percent of leisure travelers mentioned the same.
