As of July 2022, 51 percent of lesbian, gay, or bisexual people in the United States had ever used online dating apps or sites. Overall, 28 percent of straight people reported ever using online dating services. In addition, four percent of straight respondents and 13 percent of LGB respondents stated currently using dating sites or apps.
