As of 2021, the majority of employed population in Morocco were occupied in agriculture, forestry, and fisheries, with roughly one third of the working population being employed in this branch. Trade was the second most popular branch of employment, accounting for 15.3 percent of the employed population. On the other hand, repair and public administration were the smallest sectors of employment in the country.
