Companies worldwide prioritizing cybersecurity by country 2023

A 2023 survey of board members of worldwide organizations found that Japanese companies prioritized cybersecurity more than those in other countries, with 87 percent of surveyed board members stating it. France and Australia ranked second, with 84 percent. Board members in companies in the United States were less likely to believe that cybersecurity is a priority in their company.

More than 50 board directors were interviewed in each market, which included the United States, Canada, United Kingdom (UK), France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Australia, Singapore, Japan, Brazil, and Mexico.
