In Portugal, the share of young people playing games online has increased over recent years. In 2019, over 58 percent of young people played online, while, in 2022, they amounted to 63 percent. Online gambling has also risen in prevalence. In 2015, 15 percent of youngsters gambled online and, by 2022, over 17 percent did the same.
