A survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in March 2023 found that about 81 percent of female respondents and 76 percent of male respondents in Hong Kong reported that rising prices of groceries had the most significant impact on them. In addition, rising prices of utility costs was the second most challenging to deal with for consumers.
