Access to online news in Portugal 2015-2022, by device

In Portugal, in 2015, 78 percent of respondents accessed online news via laptop computers, making this the most used device for online news consumption. Mobile phones were used by only 34 percent of respondents.
By 2022, this proportion had almost been inverted, as 73 percent of respondents accessed online news via mobile, while 46 percent via laptop.
Tablets presented low shares of use to access online news, decreasing from 21 percent, in 2015, to 14 percent, in 2022.
